SUMMARY: 
In "The Last Mimzy", two children discover a box of toys that do extraordinary things - objects and their own bodies can float in air, and the young girl listens to teachings from a talking rabbit.

In "The Last Mimzy", two children discover a box of toys that do extraordinary things - objects and their own bodies can float in air, and the young girl listens to teachings from a talking rabbit.  The children must discover where the toys and the special powers have come from, and what they need to do with them.  The movie includes mild flirting between married and unmarried characters, several dangerous situations, and mild crude language.

What reviewers are saying about The Last Mimzy:
Rod Gustafson of Parent Previews explains, "As far as content goes, the greatest concern for young viewers will be the portrayal of some heavy-handed government agents who barge into the Wilder home and apprehend the family under the Patriot Act (any political statement this may make is likely intentional). Other scenes of characters in peril and the uses of a few mild profanities may also be of concern."

Yahoo!'s Movie Mom Nell Minow comments, "Parents should know that this movie has some tense scenes with some mild peril. There is some kissing with a very mild sexual reference and an unmarried couple lives together."

Lindy Keffer of Plugged In Online writes, "On more than one occasion, Emma sticks part of her body into the light field. Even though she becomes whole again as soon as she moves away, the atomization takes a toll on her, and she emerges dazed and seemingly injured."
